Day 5

Grand Canyon!
Well, pulled in last night to the Grand Canyon Trailer Villiage. It was awesome! Trailer Village is a village of RV’s and trailers. It is SOOOO well done! They manage to cram quite a few RVS in this place, but it still feels woodsy and you are not on top of each other! The sounds of the birds and animals are amazing!
Beans and I woke up and headed over to the cafeteria by the campsite. We had a hearty meal before starting out on our Garnd Canyon hike! What can I say? Walking up from the trail and viewing the canyon for the first time was spectacular!
First , we walked the Rim. The trails follows the rim of the canyon. I was quite surprised at how flat and paved this route was! Not a hard hike at all.
Even met up with a tarantula! Very cool!
We decided that we couldn’t go to the grand canyon without going DOWN the grand Canyon. So we ended up taking the a hike Down to the canyon. ( NOT all the way down obviously) See me waving?
We both loved wearing our Five Fingers on the Hike. It was very cool to feel the Earth's different terrain under our feet!
This was Amazing. Going down the trail was so beautiful. Not very hard at all. We reached the midpoint, the ooohhh, ahhhh, point. ( not making that name up by the way)
Then we turned around to go back UP the trail.
Now, going back up takes twice as long, and is quite a different story! It got a little rough, but I have to say, not entirely difficult. I am SO glad that we ventured there! This is a trail that they take those mules down, and let me tell you, I cannot even Imagine riding a mule down those fucking trails. It would be way to scary!
Now we are chillen at the RV , We are getting ready for dinner. Tonight is a restaurant night. We have reservations for 2 at 6pm, and let me tell you, after todays hike, I am gonna eat like a mother fucker!
