Well, First, I must apologize for the very late posting of the final days of your RV adventure! As we approached Sedona, our last night in the RV, time ran short. All of a sudden we were thrust into the hectic schedule of prepping and packing up the RV and getting it ready to return it to Cruise America.
Here is a quick montage of our last day.
We stopped to see old Indian dwellings,
And volcanoes:
Then, we headed towards Sedona
The last night of the RV park was absolutely incredible. Our spot was perfect!!
This was the first time on our adventure that we were able to roll into a RV park in the daytime hours! I loved it!
We quickly made camp, and I headed to the BBQ pit and made dinner!
PERFECT!!
The next morning, we got up and I was able to do a little bit of Tension Training. As we packed up , And cleaned up. We started the last 2 hours of our trip to Mesa.
We returned our RV, and was SHOCKED at how inexpensive the whole trip was! Since we were taking the RV to Mesa to be refurbished and sold, we were the last people to rent it! The total cost of the rental for the 6 days was only $350.00. Our gas total was $378.00 Not to shabby for a 6 day Adventure.
WHAT HAVE I LEARNED!
I learned that I MUST have been a trucker in a past life. I was so behind the wheel of that big rig. It was second nature! I loved driving it!
I LOVE the RV lifestyle! I know that there is an RV in my future! Its now in my blood! I cannot wait to travel again, but yearn for longer travels to more distant places.
You have never really lived consciously until you have lived in an RV. To be responsible for everything going in and going out ( gas, water, sewage) makes you really THINK about what you True needs are, and how much of a dent you make on this planet!
I realized that Rental RVs are NOT that sassy, or well built. Although I am grateful for my first experience, I long for a better built coach that I can pimp out Matty-Style!
I realized that I am much more open to new adventures when I am on the open road. The vast open road keeps my mind open and my sense of adventure alive!
I learned that having a good coffee maker is not just a luxury, but a necessity.
I learned that Beans and I could survive in an RV. We were able to pull up, hook up, and execute what needed to be done quickly and efficiently!
I learned that blogging on the road takes more time then I thought.
I learned that Perhaps, 24 feet is not quite large enough for 2 people. I wouldn’t mind a checking out a slightly bigger RV next time.
I could go on and on with what I learned about my week on the open road.
But what is most important to understand, is that I learned that there will be MANY MANY MORE RV adventures ahead!!!
